Its the Product Red Initiative for Aids Campaign/Awareness in Africa.Bono the lead singer of U2 was actively involved and was nominated for a nobel peace prize.
Adding to Gravediggah's answer, some portion of the profit of Product RED (Dell PC, Moto Mobiles etc) goes to AIDS welfare fund..
