"There's the Apple approach of really designing all the hardware – I don't think that they manufacture it themselves, but they probably work very closely with Foxconn – but they do have chip design and all of that in-house, I'll bet we'll never do anything like that…
I know if we were going to build an operating system, then we wouldn't have anything to talk about for 4 years. And I know we didn't start 4 years ago, so I know we're nowhere near anything on that. What I can say generally is that our goal is not to build an operating system from scratch, or else not to design hardware from scratch. Our goal is to make it so that we can design the best integrations in the widest variety of phones."

The Embassy of Sweden, Delhi in association with RV Quiz Corp, RV College of Engineering presents ‘The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2010’ on 18th September 2010. The Swedish Embassy has once again joined hands with the distinguished engineering college to present to the youth, a fun filled and interesting quiz to commemorate Nobel Memorial Week which celebrates the spirit of the Swedish inventor and philanthropist Alfred Nobel, through knowledge, innovation and creativity.
The regional level of the quiz will be held in four cities- Delhi, Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore. RV College of Engineering has been chosen to host the Bangalore round, given its illustrious reputation in the field of quizzing.
- Participation is open to all Under Graduate & Post Graduate students in teams of three from the same college.
- Participating teams can register for the event by sending an e-mail to rvce.sweden2010@gmail.com and should include the team members’ names, college and contact details.
- The Quiz is held at RV College of Engineering, R V Vidyanikethan Post, Mysore Road, Bangalore - 560 059
- Regional winners go to Delhi for the national rounds.
- Regional winners also get internships at sponsor companies which include ABB, Volvo, SAAB, Ericsson, SKF and many more.
- Winners of the national rounds get an ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP TO SWEDEN.
