this happens when a very limited amount(but completely sufficient enough 4 complete combustion under low pressure) of air is supplied, in vacuum, then there is no incomplete combustion or production of 'Carbon' which leads to a perfect blooooo flame !!
In victorian times, it was believed that when a ghost would be in your presence, then the candle would burn with a blue glow... difference between a Science geek and a quizzer... (bows down)
@NKOB... check out the validity of my fact if you please... in Julius Caesar... when Marcus Brutus sees the Ghost of Caesar, the candle burns with a blue flame...
