X is depicted as a young, athletic woman of white British descent. She has brown eyes and long brown hair that is often in a plait[19] and sometimes in a ponytail.[20] The timeline given in the Angel of Darkness companion book lists X's birthday as February 14, 1968.[21] However, Eric Lindstrom stated in a BBC interview that X is "6 months younger than James Bond", she "transcends time [and] space", and "has her own world".[22]

X's classic costume consists of a turquoise sleeveless shirt, light brown shorts, calf-high boots, long white socks, fingerless gloves, a small backpack, and a utility belt with two holsters.[23]

X's mother bought her son a guitar when he was 12, and X began playing in various garage bands. His first band was in honor of his girlfriend, Meredith. A year after his parents' divorce, X dropped out of high school to become a rock musician. As he once explained on Inside the Actors Studio, he attempted to go back to school two weeks later, but the principal told him to follow his dream of being a musician. He played with The Kids, a band that enjoyed modest local success. The Kids set out together for Los Angeles in pursuit of a record deal, changing their name to Six Gun Method. The group split before signing a record deal. X subsequently collaborated with the band Rock City Angels[9] and co-wrote their song "Mary", which appeared on Rock City Angels' debut for Geffen Records titled Young Man's Blues.

On December 24, 1983, X married Lori Anne Allison, a makeup artist and sister of his band's bass player and singer. During X's marriage, his wife worked as a makeup artist while he worked a variety of odd jobs, including a telemarketer for ink pens. Later, his wife introduced him to actor Nicolas Cage, who advised X to pursue an acting career. In 1985, X and Allison divorced. After his marriage ended, X dated and was engaged to Sherilyn Fenn

In the years to come by he became a great actor....

The ____________ is a phrase originating from the sport of cricket. It describes an area where a cricket ball can pitch during a delivery: a narrow line on and just outside a batsman's off stump. The name is derived from the opinion that this is the area in which a batsman struggles most to determine whether to play forward or back, or whether to leave the delivery.

The first recorded use of the phrase is commonly credited to former Yorkshire and England batsman, now commentator, Geoffrey Boycott whilst commentating on England's 1990 tour of the West Indies [1] . There are other earlier claims to coinage, however, including a televised interview with Merv Hughes who says Allan Border instructed him to bowl in the "____________" at one point in the 1988-1989 West Indies tour of Australia [2].

The phrase has also been used in other sports commentary. In football it is commonly used to describe a cross or pass which is delivered into the area in front of the goalkeeper and behind the last line of defence. The "-----------" in this case comes from the decision which both the last defender and the goalkeeper must make: whether to defend the ball, or leave it to the other player. The phrase was used in this context by Chris Butland during the Everton v Bolton Wanderers Premier League game on February 7th, 2009 at Goodison Park.
